Redskins vs. Falcons: Friday Injury Update

Thomas DeCoud and Antone Smith have both been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Redskins.

Friday's injury report has been released, and if you've been keeping an eye on it this week, there are no surprises. As Dave wrote earlier today, Thomas DeCoud was ruled out for Sunday's game with a concussion. DeCoud has not practiced all week. Antone Smith was also held out of practice all week with the knee injury suffered in last week's matchup with the Packers, and he has also been ruled out for Sunday.

Zeke Motta should get the start for DeCoud at free safety, yet Motta remains limited in practice with a broken hand, and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game.

Roddy White was limited with a knee injury, and is questionable for Sunday. Tony Gonzalez is continuing to deal with a toe injury, and was limited in practice, but as Mike Smith suggested earlier in the week, Gonzalez will likely play the bulk of the offensive snaps. Sean Weatherspoon was limited in practice with the shoulder injury that he suffered in last week's game in Green Bay, but he did return to the game following the injury. He is questionable for Sunday, but should be ready to play.

Linebacker Paul Worrilow was upgraded from limited practice to full practice with a shoulder injury. Worrilow is probable for Sunday's game.
