Considering the way the Falcons have seen key players go down to injury this season, a Friday injury report with only minor changes is a good thing.
The minor change, however, is a troubling one. Linebacker Sean Weatherspoon, sidelined for much of the season with a Lisfranc injury, is once again on the injury report with injuries to his knee and shoulder. Spoon practiced fully on Thursday, but was downgraded to limited practice on Friday. He is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bills.
Middle linebacker Akeem Dent was limited with an ankle injury. Defensive end Malliciah Goodman is nursing a calf injury, and was limited in practice. Safety Zeke Motta continues to deal with a broken hand, and was limited in practice Friday. All are listed as questionable for Sunday's game.
Tight end Tony Gonzalez is still fighting through a toe injury. Gonzalez was limited in practice on Friday, and is questionable for Sunday's game. ESPN.com's Vaughn McClure says that Gonzalez is expected to play on Sunday, despite his injury status.
Cornerback Desmond Trufant wound up on the wrong end of a William Moore hit during last week's game against the Saints, and Trufant was able to practice fully on Thursday and Friday. Trufant is probable for Sunday's game.
For the Bills, wide receiver Stevie Johnson (groin), defensive back Nickell Robey (ankle) and wide receiver Robert Woods (ankle) all practiced fully, and are probable for Sunday's game. Defensive tackle Kyle Williams, who is fundamentally important to the Bills' pass rush, with eight sacks, 10 hits and 26 hurries on the season, has not practiced all week with a back injury. Williams is questionable for Sunday's game.
What impact do you think these injuries will have on Sunday's game?
