Tony Gonzalez Injury: Busted Toe Is Still Affecting Atlanta's Tight End

Damn you, toe!

Daniel Shirey-USA TODAY Sports

The Falcons' Monday injury report is out, and typically for 2013, it's lengthy.

Tony Gonzalez missed practice Monday, which means he's still limited by that toe injury. Gonzalez did a good imitation of a healthy Gonzo against the Buccaneers, reeling in 7 catches for 63 yards. It was clear that he couldn't quite take off the way he's accustomed to, and while I don't doubt the Falcons are holding him out of practice to give him as much rest as possible, I don't expect him to magically be healed up by Thursday night.

Malliciah Goodman also missed practice. The Falcons sorely missed his run-stopping presence on the edge Sunday, and unless he can get back to practice by tomorrow, I don't expect him to play again this week. It's a loss, but at least Jonathan Massaquoi put together a nice game while taking more or less all of his snaps.

The rest of the report features a bunch of limited players, including Dominique Davis, Jonathan Babineaux, Peria Jerry, Zeke Motta, Jacquizz Rodgers, Jeremy Trueblood and Paul Worrilow. All should play, barring setbacks.
