The Falcons have struggled mightily all season, and over the last three weeks, so has Matt Ryan. When you throw three touchdowns and seven picks in a three game span, those pitchforks practically sharpen themselves.
This game is important for the team and Ryan, then. Continued poor play is going to bring a lot of pressure down on Ryan, it's going to lead to more ugly, frustrating losses for the team and it's going to improve the draft position. Wait, what was that last one?
This is Ryan's best chance to get things back on track, in some ways. The Tampa Bay defense can be fierce, but he eviscerated them a few weeks back with Harry Douglas and is capable of doing so again if he can get rolling. Let's hope he can. I'd like to see at least one more win, after all.
Who is your Falcon to watch?
