The Jacksonville Jaguars are set to hire David Caldwell to be their new general manager, according to several reports. Fox Sports' Jay Glazer first reported the two sides were negotiating and others have since reported that a deal has been agreed upon.
As @jayglazer reported, Jaguars and Dave Caldwell have agreed to terms on a new contract to make him Jacksonville's new GM.

Caldwell is the former vice president of player personnel for the Atlanta Falcons and he comes to Jacksonville with quite a project on his hands. The Jaguars went 2-14 in 2012, tying the Kansas City Chiefs for the worst record in the league.
Caldwell has a successful past in helping to find top talent. He has been in the NFL for 15 years -- 10 of those in Indianapolis -- and he worked under Bill Polian, helping the Colts win Super Bowl XLI.
Update: It's official
David Caldwell officially has been named Jaguars General Manager
