One Falcon To Watch: All The Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons will be worth watching against the Seattle Seahawks.

Stephen Brashear

Picking one Falcon normally is not that difficult. It's dictated by matchups, storylines and rivalries. There are also a lot of great players to choose from.

Against the Seahawks, though, it's going to be a whole team effort. Seattle is a remarkably complete team, one with few concrete weaknesses. You have to outplay them, and you have to force them into mistakes. It will take an equally complete game to beat them.

So you're going to want to watch Matt Ryan slinging the ball. You're going to want to see Michael Turner churning and burning at last. Roddy White and Julio Jones will be worth watching as they run their routes. Tony Gonzalez is taking one last shot. John Abraham is a killer. And so on, and so on, and so on. This is a great team.

We know that #1 seeds get knocked off all the time. We know that the teams favored by the media lose all the time, too. We know that the Falcons want this desperately, and the gifted Seahawks team will make it tough. But with a complete team-effort and a well-executed game, they can win this. Watch for it.

Oh, and GO FALCONS!
