But he's a damn fine football player. And that's all that matters. That said, it's fun to get an occasional peek at the off-the-field shenanigans our Falcons occasionally delve into.
Apparently Moore's presence in the rap game is nothing new - and to be honest, he isn't bad, relatively speaking. His newest song is Falcons-specific. He references most of the roster in the song. It's called "W.A.R. (WillyMo Always Ready)" and I'm a fan. It isn't fantastic, but he's better than Shaq, Ron Artest, et cetera. He's at least mediocre.
I'll say this, it conveys a warrior mentality. For him, football is more than a sport. It's a battlefield, and he's always ready to wage war. The beat is solid, the hook is catchy, and the mid-song commentary isn't horrible. Put simply, I've heard lesser talent on the radio, especially in Atlanta.
Give it a listen. And please, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. Sure, it's the NFL, but hobbies are allowed. Heck, unless you're a first-time lurker, you likely consider blogging a hobby. These guys can't lift weights and study game film 25 hours a day. Because, let's be honest, there aren't 25 hours in a day. I'm told there are only 24.
