Fantasy Football: The Extra Point Poll

The following is a post and poll from XFINITY.

Thank you for participating in the opening week of The Extra Point Poll presented by XFINITY. As expected the top two picks in the 2012 NFL draft did not disappoint. Robert Griffin III and Andrew Luck both played well in their rookie debuts, however, it was RGIII that came out on top in week one in the poll and on social media. Griffin III (@RGIII) was one of the most talked about players on Twitter this weekend with "RGIII" and "RG3" both trending throughout Sunday afternoon's Redskins game. Griffin III threw for 320 yards and 2 touchdowns in the Redskins win over the Saints, while Luck passed for 309 yards and 1 TD score in the Colts week one loss to the Bears.

For the week 2 matchup we want to know your thoughts on the top two wide receivers in fantasy football: Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson (@Bigplaycj) and Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (@juliojones_11). Many fantasy experts, including Ray Guilfoyle from FakeTeams.com, think Jones can overtake Johnson as the No. 1 wide receiver in fantasy this season. Jones certainly put the pressure on Calvin Johnson in Week 1. In week 1, Jones beat the injury-depleted Kansas City Chiefs defense for 2 touchdowns on 6 receptions and 108 yards receiving. While Johnson caught 6 of his 7 targets for 111 yards in the Lions comeback win over the St. Louis Rams, but ultimately ended the game without a single touch down. This week, Johnson will take on the tough San Francisco 49ers defense on Sunday Night Football, while Jones will be at home against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football.

Which WR will score more RedZone touchdowns in Week 2: Calvin Johnson or Julio Jones? Vote now in the poll below and remember to tweet me with all your fantasy related questions @XFINITYSports.

Good luck!
