I know I know ...

Hes' been injured! It's not his fault!

Injury history aside, according to this article, Baker's been one of the more inefficient pass blocking tackles in the league over the past 3 years. He's allowed 115 total pressures; specifically, he's responsible for 19 sacks, 18 hits, and 79 hurries. His pass blocking efficiency is the 7th worst over that three year period. And he missed quite a few games.

But for the injuries, it's hard to say whether he'd have maintained that inefficiency. Chances are he wouldn't have, as the inefficiency is probably due, at least in part, to the injuries. That should make you optimistic about his future, though it probably won't. Baker has officially entered "show me!" territory. We've been very patient, and if he can't turn this around, chances are he won't last long.

Thoughts? I realize this doesn't really tell us anything we didn't already know. But let's be honest, y'all like talking about how craptastic Baker is.
