Hey, the Atlanta Falcons have picks today! Imagine that.

With picks coming up in the second and third round—there's a total of 22 selections before the Falcons get their first crack—the Falcons still have a lot of quality options from which to choose. There's several quality offensive line prospects, at least three tight ends with promise, a running back or two and a handful of quality defensive linemen. Methinks Thomas Dimitroff won't lack for options at #55.

Since there's something at stake here, let's get a great discussion going. As always, I'll be joining you in the comments for a loosely formed live draft, and our friend James Rael will be breaking down the picks as they come in. Hopefully they're ones we can celebrate.

For those curious, here's who I think the Falcons may be in on at #55. This list will be depleted rapidly, I'm sure.

  • RB Lamar Miller
  • TE Dwayne Allen
  • TE Coby Fleener
  • DT Brandon Thompson
  • OTs Cordy Glenn, Mike Adams, Kelechi Osemele, Mitchell Schwartz and Bobby Massie
  • DEs Vinny Curry, Andre Branch and Olivier Vernon
  • And probably more

Get pumped, Falcons fans. We've been waiting months to see what happens tonight.
