Quick discussion post for the Falcohol-chugging night owls.
I'm expecting some concrete, noteworthy progression from several Falcons this fall. Rodgers and Jones lead my list. It won't surprise at all if either nabs the most improved player honors.
Picking the most improved player is easy though. It's incredibly difficult to predict regression, especially when it isn't age-related. On some level, we expect McClure and Gonzalez to take a step back. They're old and stuff.
To be clear, regression is always undesirable; however, to some extent, it's predictable. It's like Dave's nose hairs. Just when you think they're gone for good, they come back with vengeance and ruin your appetite.
We don't want to jinx anyone, that'd be bad. For what it's worth, I ritually sacrificed 3 chickens and field mouse in anticipation of the bad mojo that could - at least in theory - flow from a post of this nature.
