John Abraham Exits Game With Leg Injury

This just keeps getting better!

US PRESSWIRE

The Falcons' decision to play starters in this game was one that was applauded in some quarters and derided in others. The inarguable result is that two starters are now hurt.

Dunta Robinson left the game early with what looked like a possible concussion, and John Abraham left it late with an ankle injury. The Falcons' best pass rusher was having trouble putting weight on the ankle before being carted off to the locker room, and was listed as questionable to come back to the game.

He did not return.

Obviously, the Falcons are going to need Abraham in any playoff push, as he's still easily their best pass rusher. We'll be waiting for news on how serious this injury is, and we'll update you as soon as we know what's going on.

In the meantime, talk Abraham and injuries here. Without swearing.
