Falcons-Saints Post-Game

Fact: 7/10 doctors recommend a daily dosage of baby aspirin for Falcons fans

They came. They tried to see. We conquered. Or something like that.

The Falcons just eeked out a 23-13 win against the Saints. Feels good, especially since the Saints are now, for all intents and purposes, out of playoff contention.

The game wasn't eventful from an offensive perspective. After a rush-heavy first drive that resulted in a touchdown, things slowed considerably. 3rd down conversions were like sober Dave, hard to come by. The Falcons defense intercepted the ball 5 times. William Moore nabbed 2 of those, because he's always ready.

Matt Bryant put us up by 10 in the 4th quarter with a 55 yard field goal, a season long for him. Aside from a fumble with 2:30 left in the 4th, Michael Turner looked better than he has. To be fair, his forward progress was long gone by the time he was stripped. For whatever reason, none of the refs blew their whistles. But it didn't matter, Mike Nolan came to the rescue.

Now we're 11-1. 11-1 I say! Feels good. Even so, we still suck, ya know, because the analysts say so and stuff. Did I mention that we clinch the division with a Bucs loss this weekend?
