The Falcons face a tough road test against the Bucs on Sunday, the Saints have their hands full at the Superdome and the Panthers get a shot at redemption on the national stage. Week 12 will be interesting for the NFC South to say the least.
Caleb, James and I all sit at 20-7 overall on the season, while Dave took another step back last week and now stares down at two-game deficit with only a quarter of the season to go. Take a look at our picks this time around.
Falcons across the board, what a surprise. Tampa is certainly an improved team in 2012, and its offense looks completely revitalized with Doug Martin and Vincent Jackson in the mix. That being said, the Bucs secondary is a disaster, and Matt Ryan should be able to exploit the last-ranked pass defense in the league.
James was the only one brave enough to go with the Saints and Eagles this week. New Orleans is turning its season around at the right time, but considering how well the 49ers looked last week, and the play-making ability Colin Kaepernick possesses, I'm sticking with Harbaugh's squad.
Nick Foles did not fare well in his first start with the Eagles. LeSean McCoy might also miss Monday night's matchup, so the Eagles are still reeling on offense. It wouldn't shock me to see the Panthers blow it somehow, but I feel more confident about their chances.
What's your take on the slate of games this week?
