Week 11, 2012 The last Quarterback to throw 5 interceptions and still win the game was Bart Star all the way back in 1967. Not a bad comparison if you ask me. Yes Matt Ryan played horrible, yes he threw 5 interceptions, and yes he didn't score a single touchdown. But the last time I checked, half of the game is played by the defense, and they played "lights out" football. That is the trade mark of all championship teams. If the offense is not playing well, it is up to the defense to step up and win the game.... And vice- versa, usually it is the other way around, but yesterday the defense did most of the work, sacking Arizona's two quarterbacks multiple times, forcing a fumble, and returning that fumble for a touchdown. I know some experts will say that this game proves that the Falcons are not an elite team, but in opinion, this game proves the exact opposite.
