The Atlanta Falcons have a lot of weapons, but none are as important in this one as Julio Jones.
Jones has been on fire the last couple of weeks, tearing up quality cornerbacks on his way to 10 receptions, 252 yards and a touchdown. That streak is likely to continue against the Saints, who have a fairly weak secondary. Patrick Robinson is capable of the occasional 99 yard interception return for a touchdown, but he's not exactly Champ Bailey back there.
Given the state of the New Orleans defense, it's going to be important for the Falcons to put up gobs of points so the Saints' excellent offense will have its work cut out for it. The more the Saints have to pass, as good as they are, the more chances the Falcons have to force a mistake. Passing to the biggest, strongest, fastest weapon on the team seems like a nice short way to get there.
I'll go ahead and boldly (?) predict a seven catch, 100+ yard, one touchdown performance from Jones. Will you be watching him?
