We've reached Week 5 and the Falcons are still rolling along undefeated. Don't expect anyone here to pick against them this time around either.
With a commanding lead in the NFC South, Atlanta heads to Washington to take on the rookie phenom that is RG3. The 0-4 Saints continue their quest for the first victory of 2012 against the Chargers at home and the Panthers play host to an up and down Seahawks squad. Tampa Bay is on bye this week, so we're left with three games to pick once again.
Caleb has taken the lead among the four of us, calling all three games correctly in Week 4. Let's see what everyone thinks of the slate of games on hand this weekend.
In a shocking turnout, everyone picks Atlanta. And why wouldn't we? If Tampa Bay, one of the worst offenses in the league, can nearly take down Washington, I think we should feel confident about his one.
The leader so far is taking the Seahawks this week in a game that, in my opinion, seems pretty tough to call. Seattle's defense is one of the best in the league, but Russell Wilson did not play well on the road last week against an aggressive Rams secondary. The Panthers defense is by no means impressive, but I think they can pull this one off at home.
San Diego at New Orleans is a polarizing matchup here. My thinking: the Saints have to win eventually, right? I won't mind if they don't, but they nearly had Green Bay (with the help of some questionable calls), and Sean Payton and the gang will be in attendance on Sunday. I bet Drew does his best to impress his real coach.
What's your take on these picks?
