By popular demand that may or may not exist, I’m bringing back this feature for 2011. Yes!

But how to pick just one Falcon for today’s pre-season game against the Dolphins, when there are so many players worth watching? When I posed that question on Twitter yesterday, I saw a lot of support for Jacquizz Rodgers, Dominique Franks and even young president Andrew Jackson.

All are worthy candidates, and you should keep an eye on them. But for my money, the guy to watch closely is going to be Garrett Reynolds.

Reynolds is trying to move from tackle to right guard this off-season, and is battling with Mike Johnson for the right to start. Well, was battling. Johnson is going to miss the game with a concussion, and this is now the moment Reynolds has been waiting for.

With no competition playing, Reynolds just needs a good game to put himself way out in front for a job. Given that he’s a hulking offensive lineman with a desire to knock people down, he’ll be fun to watch.

How do you think Reynolds will do tonight? Make like Ed Hochuli and make the call.
