That's the oddball question posed by BizJournals, who I am required to read frequently for my day job. They have a habit of putting everything you can think of into numbers, so it's little surprise the Falcons got their turn.

According to the article, a combination of factors (the primary one being the team's woeful history) have added up to make the Falcons the 15th worst team to root for in the NFL. The combination of a nice stadium, a great owner and the team's recent winning ways conspired to move it up in the rankings.

The best team is the friggin' New England Patriots, of course. The worst team is equally unsurprising Detroit Lions, whose woes over the last decade have been chronicled pretty much everywhere. There's a lot of woe, is what I'm saying.

With my peculiarly outside perspective, I'm not much good for weighing in on this one...except to say I disagree wholeheartedly. But for those of you around Atlanta or even further away from the city, what do you think of these rankings?
