Just a little happy off-topic post to get you through hump day. A few months ago I alluded to the fact that I had applied to the University of Georgia as well as a smaller college up here (Western Carolina University) in hopes of pursuing my broadcasting dream.
Because of some silliness on my part, I expected UGA to revoke me.
However, they did not. I was accepted about a week ago. WCU also accepted me. As you all know, I live in North Carolina and would have to shell out out-of-state tuition to go to Georgia, even though Georgia has been my school of fandom since the day I was made.
After thinking about it for a week, I decided to bite the bullet and accept paying out-of-state tuition to go to Georgia, where several of the readers here attend school.
I'll be writing another one of these posts in the fall once I'm comfortably settled in (assuming everything goes smoothly) and we'll arrange a time and a place for a little Falcoholic meet up, but for the time being, if you live in or around the Athens area, say so here and I'll write your name/username/whatever else you feel like providing down so when I start rallying the troops, I'll know who to start harassing and whatnot.
