Falcons TWESTOTE of the Day: Falcons + Hard Knocks?

The Comrade was interviewed on SIRIUS radio Friday morning. Hard Knocks was discussed. If you are unfamiliar with the program, here's the Wikipedia link. The Falcons were asked to participate a while back. They refused. And this is what The Comrade had to say about it today.

"Two years ago we were approached and decided that it wasn’t right for us at that point," Dimitroff said. "That’s not to say we wouldn’t go down that road if it was presented to us at another time. We are much closer to being in that spot where it’s not going to be as much of a distraction as it would have been another time."

Let's start with the obvious: there's no indication the Falcons have been re-approached re: being featured. As far as I can tell, they're not being considered (though they'd be an attractive option), nor would they definitely participate. All we know is that they wouldn't outright reject the opportunity if it does present itself at some point down the line.

To be honest, I'd have mixed emotions if they chose to participate. Three of the six teams who've participated made the playoffs in the same year, which makes me think the "it will be a distraction!" argument doesn't carry much weight. But truth be told, it does seem to elicit a fairly large dose of haterade. Some people love the show. Others can't stand it. Not that I really care if haters want to hate. But our franchise's reputation is on the line. Would love to see what goes on behind the scenes. Just not sure it's for us.

Curious what y'all think. Is this something you'd oppose or support? Comment your faces off!
