Your NFL Labor Update: The Negotiations Continue

Considering we could be entering into the bleak wasteland that would be a lockout right now, an extension to the talks between the NFL and the NFLPA has be thought of as a good thing.

Beginning this morning, the two sides will resume talks after agreeing to push negotiations out into Friday. It's not a guarantee of an agreement, but it's a step in the right direction, and there's nothing to stop them from going out another week if it really picks up steam.

Basically, it's the most encouraging news I've heard yet, and the best indication that we might actually get to football without a lockout gumming up the works. If free agency could get started ahead of the draft, we'd have ourselves something vaguely resembling a normal off-season.

Weigh in on whether you think the two sides can hammer something out by Friday.
