The past few weeks have been a bit of a sports let down for all of us. Not only did we see our Falcons outcoached and outplayed on national TV, we then had to witness the team that demolished our hopes and dreams go on and do the same thing to the Bears and Steeler fanbases. I cannot argue with a thirteen and three record and a #1 NFC playoff seed. I just can't. So I won't. Instead, I'm going to kick off a running feature today.

You remember the Tweets of the Game posts right? Did one for every game this year (save the playoff game; way too depressed to collect those dark tweets). I did all of that not to just entertain and get the Falcons online community active on the site. I did it to reward the best among you on twitter. Consider this endeavor an effort to cull the best from the best.

Today is an introductory to the winners, with links to their twitter timelines. I highly recommend that, should you have a twitter account, you follow these esteemed Falcons fans. Categories and winners of said categories will be announced in the coming days. After all the categories are announced, there will be a full week of winner spotlights, where I will intereview the top five winners. While the winners won't get a valued prize, I fully expect you Falcoholics to give them the prize of applause, congratulations, and readership. These are the best of the best and deserve your attention.

Now follow the jump for the list and links.
