Quick discussion post for you all this morning, since it is not 4:05 am, and if I described the scene in my apartment within the past two hours or so, well, it would probably not be a pleasant thing to read, so I'm not going to share. Just know that I'm very, very sad currently.
My question to you all this morning is....well, if you don't know what the question is, shame on you!
Can we still win the division? I think so. We're certainly capable of winning out and, despite ol' Grimetime having an injury, it would seem he'll be back for Saints 2, which will be very, very important if we're going to make a division run.
At this hour, thinking isn't really a strong suit....let's see.
All of the Saints and Falcons losses have been within the conference and, therefore, if we win out (thus beating the Saintsies) both teams would be 1-1 against each other and....upon partial brain function, we would lose tiebreakers to them based on common opponents. HOWEVER, if the Lions have surprise victory against them and we still win out, we would trounce them.
With our defense's play as of late, that's not out of the question.
However, that's also a question for you all to debate. Can we break the NFCS curse and win the division again?
