Falcons Lose Heartbreaking Playoff Game, 48-21 To Packers

I could tell you how this one went down, but what can I say that you don't already know? Nothing, that's what.

This simply isn't the way any of us envisioned the season ending. The Falcons played an uncharacteristically sloppy, listless game of football, and we'll spend the rest of the off-season wondering why. I'm not going to pretend that this doesn't royally suck, because it does. I'm just south of devastated.

Nonetheless, this was still a great season. The Falcons were still one of the best teams in the NFL. They'll return in 2011--and there damn well better be a 2011--as favorites to take the NFC South again. Do any of you doubt that Thomas Dimitroff is going to go through the off-season without improving the Falcons?

I'll expand on this in the recap tomorrow morning, but there's nothing to be ashamed of. Mourn this loss in your own way, be kind to one another and come back tomorrow. We'll be here all off-season long.

Talk your way through it here.
