Final Falcons-Packers Injury Report

In a little more than twelve hours, the Falcons will take the field. Win and the NFC Championship Game lies ahead. Lose and slink into the off-season.

It is not a time for doubt or panic. The pundits can pick the Packers perpetually, but it doesn't change the fact that this is a gladiatorial battle between two extremely talented teams. The Falcons have the ability to win this game in the trenches, being one of the nastiest teams along the lines in the NFL. And they'll be coming into this one about as healthy as we fans could hope.

Brian Williams is doubtful, which means the Falcons will have to squeeze a great performance out of Chris Owens. It's eminently possible to do so, because I really do believe in the guy's talent. It's just not the best timing after Williams has been an effective option out of the nickel all season, particularly as a pass rusher. Good luck, Owens!

The rest of the list is a string of questionables, but there's no way in hell that Roddy White, Curtis Lofton and John Abraham don't suit up for this one. The Packers are only missing linebacker Frank Zombo, with a few questoinables who would seem unlikely to miss a huge game like this. It's going to be a hell of a game.

Risin' up time, ladies and gentlemen!
