As announced previously in this space, Comcast has generously agreed to support the best NFL community around -- us! As part of that effort, between now and the end of the 2010 NFL season Comcast will be sponsoring a variety of special editorial and interactive features on our site.
Let's jump the gun!
This week, I'd like you to consider one Mike Johnson. He's the hulking rookie guard who looks like he may actually turn out to be a competent NFL lineman, which immediately puts him on our radar.
Let's face it, the offensive line looked putrid Friday night. That could be a blip on the radar screen—and it probably is—but maybe somewhere along that line there's a weak spot or two we can clean up. Garrett Reynolds and Joe Hawley are potential contributors down the line, too, but I think MJ might have the best shot to do something right now.
So what's he gonna do? Do you see Johnson working himself into the starting conversation this year, after seeing him practice and play Friday? Or is he a total backup and I'm wasting your time?
