Woo!
We're now entering the second day of the Atlanta Falcons practicing with the Jacksonville Jaguars, mainly because Mike Smith and Jack Del Rio are BFFs. I maintain that it's a useful thing to play another team, to get players out of their comfort zones and gauge how an AFC squad with a lot of promise can play out there.
It also allows for the occasional flare-up, and training camp fights are always ridiculously entertaining to read about.
But thanks to a head-spinning array of changes in the life of ol' Dave, we're going the open thread route this morning. I promise to drop in and update this with anything interesting that comes out of the joint practices, but in the meantime, catch up on position battles you're interested in and talk football. We're only days away from our first pre-season game, after all.
