The ever-astute J. Michael Moore of AtlantaFalcons.com has revealed the times and dates of the Falcons' preseason schedule.
While it may not be THE schedule we're all chomping at the bit to see, it is A schedule and A schedule is better than NO schedule. As a consolation prize, here's a nugget of joy for those of you outside of 11 Alive's coverage area: the second preseason game is going to be nationally televised on FOX. Yup, that's right, all you out of towners will be able to watch Matty Ice play two or three downs of football right from the comfort of your own living room, without having to snatch an illegal stream online! Isn't that AWESOME? Yes. Yes it is. Those who disagree may bring their complaint to Mr. Harvey Dahl.
Follow the jump for the schedumel!
Things to watch for in preseason: Tony Gonzalez' performance versus his old team, our secondary/pass rush versus Brady, our DL against Maurice Jones-Drew, and our entire defense versus what Miami throws at us. Of course, all eyes should be on any draftees or FA signings when they're on the field. Oh and any receivers we may pick up/already have since Coach Smith has admitted that Turner will be seeing less carries this year. Harry Douglas should also be taking a lot of downs in the preseason, so we'll see if HD still has it (spoiler: he does).
