Welcome To The Comcast Draft Player Profiles!

As announced previously in this space, Comcast has generously agreed to support the best NFL community around -- us!  As part of that effort, between now and the end of the 2010 NFL season Comcast will be sponsoring a variety of special editorial and interactive features on our site.  They begin today with the launch of the Comcast HD War Room, your weekly destination for key draft insight and opinion.  Welcome!

This may be more overtly commercial than you're used to, but patience. Good things lurk under the bolded loomings of Comcast (It's Comcastmic!) Beginning next Tuesday, this space will be used to take an in-depth look at every player the Falcons draft Thursday/Friday/Saturday, starting with Sean Weatherspoon whoever the Falcons deem to be their first draft pick.

If you remember our draft profiles from 2009, picture those again here with much the same format, but more content. We'll be running that series right through whichever obscure sixth round the Falcons pick up last, where I'll either dig through thousands of pages of documents to establish their true identity or make stuff up about. Take your pick, really.

For now, though, use this highly publicized thread to talk about the upcoming draft. It's only hours away, and you'll definitely want to join us for the live blog which will kick off right around 6 p.m. Until then, friends!

Comcast is a proud supporter of The Falcoholic.  You’ll get your Atlanta Falcons games as a part of over 120 NFL games Comcast provides in HD, as well as On Demand game recaps from every NFL game every week, faster Internet speeds, and stunning HD.  With Comcast and NFL RedZone, you get every touchdown from every game every Sunday afternoon!  Call 1-800-COMCAST or visit http://www.comcast.com.
