Atlanta Falcons at New York Giants Open Thread

For a variety of reasons, this is a must-win. So the Falcons must win. Simple as that.

So let's go out and get that win, right? It won't be easy without Michael Turner and against a reeling Giants team that will be out for blood, but when are good things ever easy? Maybe it's the fact that I'm exhausted, but I believe we can take this one away. Just a belief, I guess.

Make sure to comment early and often as we follow along with the action.

What? Atlanta Falcons @ New York Giants, 1 p.m. EST

Where? "Giants Stadium," East Rutherford, New Jersey

Weather? It's always sunny in East Rutherford.

Fun Fact? In his short career, Jason Snelling is averaging 4.4 yards per carry. Does give you a little boost of confidence with Turner out, right? I hope so.

Injuries? Sam Baker is probable and will likely take over for Will Svitek, a fine lineman who nevertheless isn't quite in Baker's league in pass protection. Brian Finneran is out and Michael Turner almost certainly is, while Erik Coleman, Jerious Norwood and Roddy White as questionable. White and Coleman will play, but I'm not sure about Norwood.

The Giants will be missing LB Antonio Pierce, but they're otherwise pretty healthy.

Odds? New York over Atlanta 7.0, O/U 46.0

GO FALCONS! Let's cut these Giants down to size!
