I know I said it would two days until I moved on to the next pick, but I'm a dirty liar. The response was also way above what I anticipated, and more than 50% of you said the Dolphins would select Chris Long first overall. So be it.
The Dolphins get the best defensive end in the draft here and decide to begin rebuilding their pass rush first. With Long off the board, the Rams are down one option and must look at the offensive line, defensive tackle and others with the second overall pick.
The Rams got old and ineffective all at once last year, much like Napoleon's army. VanRam at Turf Show Times will tell you that this is a team that needs an infusion of young talent, so there's no easy selection here. Like us, they have to be tempted by OT Jake Long with a serious hole at tackle. With Chris Long now swimming with the Dolphins in as non-fruity a fashion as possible, this isn't good news for our beloved Falcons.
