Here's a new concept I wanted to try out before the draft. Pretend the draft and the myriad trades, free agent signings and anguished posts by yours truly have come and gone. Now the new-look Falcons are matched up against the new-look Bucs, who have somehow managed to sign both Rod Coleman and Alge Crumpler.
What I'd like to see is comments on the game, how you predict it would turn out, and a little name dropping along the way to shape up next season's roster. If there's a disagreement on personnel, hash it out. I think this could be a lot of fun if y'all are willing to play along, so let's see where it goes.
Who? Atlanta Falcons vs. Tampa Bay Bucs, 1:00 p.m.
Where? A sunken pirate ship serving as the Bucs stadium.
Weather? Watery, with a chance of fish.
Fun Fact? The last time the Falcons played the Bucs, their stadium was destroyed by a hungry Grady Jackson.
Injuries? Daren Stone is out with an ankle injury, while Michael Boley is likely to play after breaking his hand punching out a small office building.
Odds? Bucs favored by 10, O/U 44.5
Foe? Jerry over at Buc 'Em will be live-snorkeling the game, so be sure to check it out.
Let's sink these already sunken Bucs!
