Warrick Dunn Goes To Injuryland

All I can say is that training camp better suck a lot less than everything that's come before it. Warrick Dunn just had surgery for a herniated disc in his back, which is going to ensure that he misses training camp and the first couple of preseason games. While he shouldn't miss any of the regular season, he may not be 100%. Even more inspiring is the fact that Jerious Norwood is basically the only running back able to work in camp. I'm a huge fan of Dunn and I hope he recovers as quickly as possible, but the selfish part of me wishes we could see him in camp. I wonder if Norwood is going to be able to practice with the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th teams?

Jason Snelling and Justin Vincent, come on down!

In the same article, Steve Wyche mentions that Demorrio Williams has been cleared to practice. He'll need some time to get back up to speed, but he's going to be a more than welcome sight on the practice field. I still hope to get a good look at Nicholas and Orlando Huff, however. And the team also signed Trey Lewis, who will be a project at defensive tackle but could at the very least be a nice depth guy. So there's some good news, at least.
