The Falcons dipped into the bargain bin and came up with a Vanilla Ice CD, a Koosh-Ball and cornerback Lewis Sanders. The dude was injured a lot last year, but he provides solid coverage and is a booster on special teams. I can't argue with the signing unless (say it with me!) the contract is too much. The Falcons have, with the exception of Ovie Mughelli, spent within their limits to pick up depth. And given the lack of depth that pervaded the team this last season, I'm not in a position to argue with that. But that does mean the impact signings are going to happen in the draft, so I hope McKay is burning the midnight oil.
