Before we jump into the usual game thread, I wanted to stop and give thanks to everyone who has taken the time to read The Falcoholic over the last year. It's been a lifelong dream of mine to be able to write about the team I (inexplicably) love, and I've had a terrific group of readers and fellow bloggers to work with. We've arguably had the worst season of any team out there, but it's been comforting to have fellow fans discussing entries or even just yelling at me about them. So thanks to all of you for sticking around here, and here's hoping next season proves a lot happier for all of us.
Now go enjoy your turkey.
Who? Atlanta Falcons vs. Indianapolis Colts, 8:15 PM ET
Where? Georgia Dome, Atlanta, Georgia
Weather? Hopefully raining cranberry sauce, because that would be delicious.
Fun Fact? In two games against the Falcons since 2001, Peyton Manning has managed to throw for 615 yards, 8 TDs and exactly 1 INT. I'm not saying we're screwed...but we're definitely boned.
Injuries? Coleman and Trey Lewis out for the year, Blakley, Horn, Leftwich and Weiner all doubtful. Weeee!
Odds? Colts favored by 11.5, O/U 41
Foe? Stampede Blue is always a great read, and some of the blog's crew has been hanging around here. If you want to know more about the Peyton Mannings, give it a read.
Let's give thanks for the beating the Falcons are hopefully going to give to Indy.
