Michael Boley Will Destroy Len Pasquarelli

Somehow, Len Pasquarelli just wrote an entire article about the resurgence of quality linebackers (he's done every other position, so why the hell not) without mentioning Michael Boley. It goes without saying that if Len is found dead in Bristol from tackle-related injuries, Boley will be the #1 suspect.

And again, let me reiterate something I've been saying since last year: what the fuck does Michael Boley have to do to get some credit? The blogging community and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution note how well he's doing on a regular basis, but he can't seem to get the kind of slobbery man-love from the national media that seems reserved for Merriman (roided up) or Julian Peterson (overrated). Is it going to take a multiple interceptions or forced fumble game? Is it going to take a Mike Vrabel-type touchdown pass on offense? Should he play football and go for the Nobel Prize in chemistry?

It probably shouldn't bother me as much as it does, but with this season being as miserable as it has been I'm always on the lookout for bright spots. It irks me when arguably our most dominant player can't get any of the credit he so richly deserves.

So what do you guys think? Will Boley get a Pro Bowl berth and a glowing article or two before the end of the year?
