If you told me the Falcons were going to be down 6-0 near the half, were playing inept football, and were going to lose Dunn and Norwood, I would've punched you right in your smug face. Then I would've told you we would lose, and probably apologized for punching you, because I'm a nice guy. But somehow we won a game where Vick didn't throw a TD pass, our two backs went down, and Justin Griffith--a fullback by nature, ma'am--finished with the most rushing yards. This lends credence to the idea that the Bucs are a spectacularly bad team. Somehow, the Falcons are now in the thick of the playoff race in the NFC, and I'm left asking myself if what I just witnessed made any friggin' sense whatsoever. I don't even know if I care to make sense of it.
