Bartkowski Recovering

Way before there was Mike Vick, before Chris Chandler, before Bobby Hebert and Chris Miller, there was Steve Bartkowski. It's somewhat of a lost name, surprising in that he was arguably the best QB the team has ever had. He had a few very good seasons and some mediocre ones, even if he was somewhat disappointing for a first overall pick. He was a quality player and a decent person, though, and that's why it's good to hear that he's recovering from some scary blood clots. Apparently clots traveled up to his lungs from his knee surgery, which makes me never, ever want to have knee surgery (though I'll probably need it).

Get well soon, Steve.
