Well, it's official. From the great stone table of ESPN.com comes this official report that Vick's been nailed with $10k in regular fines and is being ordered to give $10k to a charity of his choice. Vick's certainly not going to appeal, as this is basically a drop in the bucket for him, but I did find it interesting that traditionally it's a $5k fine for most first time offenders of the same stripe. Perhaps this also has something to do with Vick's stature around the league? Hard to say. But I'm glad he's got the fine and I'm glad this is over with. Let's hope this never happens again, while we're at it.
