Sad start
for this commenter anyhow, Bill Cowher has told the Falcons he doesn't intend on coaching for another year.

I know it's sad....
But he was really just a wish more than a reality.  He was my first thought too, but I don't think he's been out of football long enough to be ready to come back, and not at a rebuilding situation like Atlanta is right now.  (I think we have some pieces in place, but there are some gaping holes that are going to have to be addressed.)  In my opinion, when Cowher comes back, it's going to be in a better situation where he can win and win right then.

Here we go
Alright.  Enough negativity and what not.

THIS is a winnable game.  Let's do this!!!

Let's matriculate the ball down the field boys.

Torn
I just wanted to say I'm torn about the last 3 games.  Part of me hopes we win the last 3 with Thomas as coach just to "stick it" to Petrino.  3 wins in a row would show Petrino that it was him & his ludicrous play calling and not the team that was reason for all the loses.  But part of me wishes we would phone it in so we can get a high draft pick, since we're out of the playoffs and going nowhere this season anyway.

Thoughts?

i agree but...
i think that your right about the high pick and we need it to geniunely rebuild but.... it takes away the whole integrity of the game. the whole point is to try to win no matter what.

so lets do this!

go hard or go home

Call me crazy...
...but I am actually kinda happy for the Bucs. First KO return for a TD in franchise history.  Sure they are our rival, but I have always thought that their 30+ year streak of never having a kick off return for a TD was one of the strangest streaks in sports history.

As a Falcons fan I was upset, but as an NLF fan I think it's great.

Let's matriculate the ball down the field boys.

*in the one of Jim Mora*
Four wins? Don't talk to me about four wins! Four wins?!
