Redskins Safety Sean Taylor Dead At 24

There's very little I can say that hasn't been summed up in the Associated Press story. I find it terribly sad when a man that young dies, especially when he's leaving behind a girlfriend, a young daughter and countless friends. That's not even mentioning the Redskins fans who will be struggling through the day when they receive the news.

I would ask that you keep Sean's family in your thoughts today, and if you're so inclined, please go to Hogs Haven and leave any thoughts you may have. And if you see a Redskins fan today, give them a little room.

Awful, awful news.

So very sad.

I was over @ HogsHeaven reading some of the posts by no Redskins fans. The outpouring of thoughts and prayers from Cowboys fans nearly brought me to tears!

This is just so stupid. This isn't even a football thing, it's a life thing. It's just really horrible that this happened to a young father who was really turning the corner lately in life and also on the field (he was leading the league in int's before his latest injury sidelined him). I am just so pissed off that this happened and feel for his family, especially his little 1 year old daughter who will never know her father.

Let's matriculate the ball down the field boys.
