Mr. Falcon (NOT to be confused with the original Mister Falcon, Tommy Nobis) has a music video where he sings about Little Mr. Falcon. Though this has nothing to do with our football heroes, I thought some of you might find this noteworthy and/or amusing. Advance apologies if I (or Mr. Falcon) offend.

Using their concept of Game Scripts - which accounts for score at any given moment of all 16 games - PFR presented the numbers for the 2012 season looking at how much of passing identity each team had. The Falcons, despite what conventional stats tell us, were actually the most pass happy offense last year: "The Falcons come in as the most pass-happy team of 2012, once you account for situation. Atlanta was a 13-win team last year, so ranking 8th in pass attempts and 26th in rush attempts despite that record requires a significant devotion to the passing game. Of course with Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, Roddy White, and Tony Gonzalez, that makes perfect sense." Indeed, it does.

Seventeen rookies will duke it out for an invitation to camp. Perhaps one or two will make it out.

This piece ran a couple of days ago up here in Northern VA on Brian Banks. It is worth watching/reading.
