The Falcons certainly missed running back Devonta Freeman on the field on Sunday after he left the game with a concussion. Dan Quinn confirmed prior to Wednesday's practice that Freeman would be held out on Wednesday as he moves through the league's concussion protocol. I would consider Freeman unlikely to play on Sunday just based on the time it generally takes for a player to come through the protocol.
Wide receiver Leonard Hankerson, who has a hamstring injury, was also held out of Wednesday's practice. Injuries have certainly impacted Hankerson's season, so here's hoping he's able to get back to practice soon.
Cornerback Robert Alford (groin) and left guard Andy Levitre (knee) were both limited in Wednesday's practice. Kicker Matt Bryant is also listed on the injury report with a quad injury, and Bryant was limited in practice. This may have been a factor in the missed field goal early in Sunday's loss to the Colts. Safety Robenson Therezie, who was unable to play on Sunday as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury he suffered against the 49ers, was able to practice on Wednesday in a limited capacity.
Your thoughts on the injuries and your expectations for these players against the Vikings this week?
