I was going to wait until after at least the first preseason game to update my projected depth chart, but you know, you can learn a few things from the first five days of training camp. Really.
You could learn, for example, that Ryan Schraeder has arrived at camp in shape, looking beastly and generally showing well enough to be in the running for swing tackle. You could see Jacques Smith show up and impress early while others do not, and see him display the ability to jaw like a veteran and take some hits to the mouth, something that quietly impresses observers. And you could see other young, impressive players who force you to reconsider your preconceived notions.
In total, you'll notice perhaps five changes to the depth chart I put out a week ago, all of them made in reaction to early impressions of camp. That is not a reliable scientific barometer, but I did want to open up a discussion about the roster and be able to answer any of your questions, so go nuts.
