Fact: Julio catches 100 balls before every game
With 1 year left on his contract you gotta wonder what will the Atlanta Falcons do with 3rd year choice WR Julio Jones. As we all know, Roddy White and Harry Douglas doesn't have the brightest years ahead of them and we wonder can Julio be our future when their times are up.
After a 2013 slump Julio is looking to make a comeback - Myself personally think this is gonna be his biggest year after a whole off season to rehabilitate and get stronger you can call him the next Calvin Johnson. Julio is already an elite receiver but with the major injuries that he's had it bothers you and you have second thoughts on was this guy worth drafting.
Let's be honest here when Julio first came into the league back in 2011 he was battling injuries then. It all started out with one small hamstring tear , then his foot started to become a problem , and now it's his achilles - not saying he's injury prone but my thoughts are that he doesn't give himself time to heal.
Without all the injuries Julio can be that guy we want him to be but as of now I don't see him being a tagged player. Heck he doesn't even have to be franchised tagged - He's lucky if he's resigned , not saying that as if he is a bad player kind of way but that's if Atlanta decides to keep a guy who can't play a full season around.
My thoughts are that Atlanta will keep him around because he's still young but with all the injuries they probably will give him a simple contract nothing long term. If healthy I'm gonna say 5 or 6 yrs ($50M) but with the injury struggle 3 or 4 yrs ($30M)
