D-block

Where does D-block go from here?

In the beginning D-block was a very entertaining show to watch on Atlantafalcons.com website. The host of the show was originally Falcons linebacker Mike Peterson and the co-host were the rest of the linebackers. They interviewed their fellow teammates, coaches, and staff members. They asked questions that would have never been asked under any normal circumstances. After Mike Peterson wasn’t re-signed, Weatherspoon took the reigns as host and although he wasn’t as good as Mike Pete he was still very good along with his supporting cast. Last year the show failed to hold up to its standard. The show was stale and the videos were short. In the beginning shows easily averaged over ten minutes, however last year shows averaged about three minutes.

D-block has lost all of it’s original members except Sean Weatherspoon who is out for the season. The days of Mike Pete, Steven Nicholas, Curtis Lofton, Pat Shiller (was never allowed to talk), Akeem Dent, and Robert James.

This one shows the chemistry they had and how much fun they had together

Will Spoon host the show through his injury? If not who has the talent to get in front of the camera and entertain the fans? With all of the young linebackers on the roster have we seen the last of D-block?

What ya think?
