This is a post I have been think about writing for the past fes weeks, I hope it comes across the way I intend it to.
Around about the time the season was about to start I was reading the bleacher report app wich show you the tweets of people who tweet about your team. I noticed that every tweet form DOL had a negative under tone. After about a week of this I had finley decided to email him and suggest he think about not writing about the Falcons anymore because it seemed to me that he was unhappy with the job. He emailed me back and told me that he was being unbiased and not a homer. It struck me then that if he was truly being unbiased he would post as much positive as negative.
Now this is just on example there are more such as 790 the zones morning show's Crump. I like Crump but he is very negative about our beloved team, and as much as I enjoy his break downs and football insight so is our very own Uptown.
I say all not to say that someone fan or other wise are not spossed to critize the coaches, players, or even the front office. That's not it at all, but when all you come at us with is negativity its hard for the positive to come back at you with anything but negativity. I for one am willing to put trust into our front office to see the mistakes they have made and do there best not to do them again. Heck they have shown us that they have seen agood bit of them and are trying to fix them. They have brought at least 3 new scotting personal, new off. and dff. line coaches, and have promoted one coach to olb coach. If that doesn't show you that they are addressing a weakness I don't know what can. Then add in a new RG. DE, DT and resinging out to best DT and the 3rd DT who had his best year to date ( for peanuts) I say they are headed in the right direction.
Last year we went 4-12, that was horrible I will admit it openly. Our $100 mil QB was running for his life the whole season. Our D was below subpar and we had no run game, but with that being said 7 of those losses where by one score or less. Not to bad of such a dumpster fire of a team that some seem to think we are. We 4 playoff team down to the wire one of the twice. All I am saying is be critical if you want but lets try to town down the sweeping negativity down some cause one of the quickest way to lose a team is for the team to lose fan support, look at the Jags, Bills and Rams not strong fan bases and every time the talks of a team moving to LA gets brought up its always talks about a team with a weak fan base.
Ok I am stepping off my soap box, do I truly think we are going to lose the Falcons to LA no I don't but just something to consider,
