Also of note Babineaux had the highest broken tackle rate of D linemen with 21.4%, Decoud was tied for 8th most amongst DB's with 17.5%. Surprisingly William Moore allowed the 22nd most broken tackles overall with 11.
Tackling has always been an issue with this team and last year was certainly no exception. For a defensive minded head coach who is so obsessive about discipline, it is hard to believe that we have always been such a poor tackling football team. I know the new CBA limits what coaches are allowed to do, but I would like to see more physical practices. It was clear at the beginning of the season when we were practicing with the Bengals that they brought a physicality to practice that we certainly lacked.
