When you hear critic's talk about the Atlanta falcons Defensive tackle core they always mention Jonatan Babineaux , Corey Peters , Peria Jerry and even the new kid Paul Soliai! The last player that comes to mind will be Travian Robertson a 4th string DT on the falcons roster. Some fans thought he should have been the 3rd DT on the roster instead of Jerry because he had more athleticism! Injurys has been holding Robertson back from his full potential he was a (7th round draft pick in 2010) He spent the whole 2010 season on injured reserve. Coming off a half playing 2013 season Travian got a chance to see some snaps especially in Carolina game when Corey Peters went down with a foot injury that was the last game of the season. Robertson is a good run stopper if raned in his direction not the best Qb sacker but he is still a building project. Entering the 2014 season the big ( 6 ft 4) (304 lbs.) Defensive tackle Is looking to get himself a spot on the roster Robertson is a 4th option at best because we don't see him beating Paul Soliai out of a job for the 3rd spot , But he definitely can beat Peria Jerry out of his! Let's wish Robertson nothing but the best this season.
